Children 12 and under get in free and seniors can snag a ticket for just $1 in a special deal available only Friday. The Del Mar Fairgrounds is located 20 miles north of downtown San Diego, at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. in the city of Del Mar, California. From Interstate 5, take the Via de la Valle exit and head west (a left turn from the freeway exit if you are northbound; a right turn if you are southbound). Take Via De La Valle to Jimmy Durante Boulevard and turn left.
In case you aren’t aware, the 34th annual San Diego Spring Home/Garden Show opens today at the Del Mar Fairgrounds where it’s always held. This is reportedly the largest show of its kind in California. Attendees will also get a chance to check out a special interior design exhibit that includes a walk-through of rooms featuring the work of members from the San Diego American Society of Interior Designers . Groups arriving in multiple cars are advised todrive in togetherin order to park together in one of several lots being used for Lightscape guests. Each day, the Garden will close at 4 pm for daytime guests and re-open for Lightscape guests at 5 pm.
